7. ADVANCED ZOMBIE
Chu Youning arrived at the mall after walking around. A lot of the glasses here were broken, and there were many unidentified black marks on the walls, on the floors, and on the glasses. The kinds of chaos experienced here in the early days of the end of the world can be seen from these marks. There were some zombies in the mall, but not many, just a few scattered here and there.
The end of the world began at night, and the shopping mall was closed at that time. So there were no customers. Eighty percent of these zombies lurking inside the mall were also humans who came in later in search of food.
Two years have passed since the end of the world and those who survived have already left this dangerous city, and those who were unable to leave have become rations for zombies.
Chu Youning remembered that there was a large supermarket on the basement floor, and she planned to settle there temporarily.
The elevator had run out of power long ago. Fortunately, there were stairs in the mall. Chu Youning walked downstairs with a flashlight. On the way, she met a few zombies. After feeling the light, they bellowed at Chu Youning disgruntledly, but because everyone was after all a zombie, they just roared and left. They looked quite amicable. It would be even better if they didn't stink so much.
Chu Youning thought that there would be more zombies in the supermarket, but when she stepped into the supermarket, she found that there were not a single zombie. There must be something terrifying inside. Everything seemed so abnormal. Chu Youning was immediately on guard. She hid her backpack and turned into a little mouse again. Unfortunately, she did not have the night vision ability of a mouse. There was no light in the basement and she could only move quietly along the shelves.
After searching for a long time, she finally found a creeper in the north-west corner of the basement. No wonder there were no zombies here, they should have been eaten by this creeper.
Chu Youning was not afraid. Although her ability is not powerful, her individual survival ability is extremely strong. She honestly sat down next to the creeper, and whenever she felt hungry, she would find a bag of food and eat a bite or two. Fortunately, there was nothing that the creeper can feed on in the basement. So it will go out for food every once in a while, and the time in between is when she explores the terrain.
For fear of any accidents, she turned back into a zombie and taking a flashlight, she groped around the supermarket leisurely. What Chu Youning didn't know was that she was being monitored by a mental force from the moment she stepped into the city.
Chu Youning strolled through the entire supermarket, loaded two bags of food and went upstairs again. She went to the floor where home furnishings were sold and tried every means to drive away the zombies there, and finally found a place to live by the window. Due to her lack of strength, she only carried some food and drinks, and she had to go back down to the supermarket to get mineral water for washing. Although it was not as good as the base that has everything, the environment here was okay.
Chu Youning, who had already fallen asleep, did not notice that a slender shadow had suddenly appeared beside her bed. The shadow stared at Chu Youning for a long time and then slowly reached out and touched her face. In order to not be attacked halfway through her sleep by zombies, she had maintained her zombie form. However, in order to move and sleep comfortably, she did not make her body too stiff. So it can be said that except for her cold skin, her body was still very soft.
The shadow touched her face and shook her arm. It seemed to be surprised by her softness, so it leaned over and sniffed her. After confirming that she smelled the same and had the breath of its kind, the shadow lay down beside her.
You can't imagine what Chu Youning felt like when she woke up with a zombie lying next to her. Even if she was mentally very strong, she couldn't help screaming loudly.
The zombie opened his eyes abruptly, and then sat up straight with his weird stiffness, making Chu Youning's scalp go numb.
This is an advanced zombie! Chu Youning identified the other party at a glance. He looked very tall, about 1.9 meters, but he did not look very strong. On the contrary, he gave people a slender feeling.
