47. GU XIAN ACTING AS A BABY
Chu Ran, who had been in a cold war for two days, heard the knock on the door outside, "Miss Chu, Wangye didn't eat much in the past two days, and stayed up late to deal with official duties. Troubling the Miss to please go over and persuade him." Sun Shangcheng pleaded outside the house.
Chu Ran was originally sitting on a chair. Hearing what Sun Shangcheng said, she immediately got up, but stopped after another thought: "He doesn't know how to cherish his body, how can others persuade him to do so."

Gu Xian heard the sound of footsteps behind him, but he didn't pay much attention, thinking it was the servants coming. But suddenly the cup in his hand was snatched by someone, and smashed on the ground outside the porch with a puff.

Chu Ran was shocked by his almost coquettish threat, or was it pleading? Her heart pounded non-stop and was still stunned. She saw that he had already turned around and said slowly: "Forget it...anyway, no one cares even if I'm dead."
She stared at his back in a daze, and suddenly there were countless sweet scenes flashing in her mind and her heart softened inch by inch.
"Tell them to serve food."
She bit her lower lip and finally said something like this, and then, under his disbelieving gaze, as he turned to look back suddenly at her, she lowered her head and walked inside.
In the dim light, when Chu Ran leaned forward slightly, the light from the shadow lamps illuminated her face with an indescribable softness and tranquility.
Gu Xian watched Chu Ran help him pick up the vegetables, and he ate as much as she picked.
Gu Xian watched her busying about in front of him, and listened to her chattering, there was a fragrance floating in his nose...In a moment, he fell into a illusion, as if she was his wife and was complaining in dissatisfaction because of his disobedience...
